Receira — Privacy Policy

Receira is a client app for self-hosted Papra document servers. It is designed so that your data stays on infrastructure you control.

What we collect

Nothing. Receira has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The developer does not collect, receive, store, or have any access to your data.

Where your data goes

Receira communicates only with the Papra server you configure (the server URL you enter when signing in). Your documents, tags, search queries, and credentials are sent solely to that server — not to the developer or any third party.

Data stored on your device

To work, Receira stores locally on your device: your server URL and sign-in session (your API key and session cookie are kept in the iOS Keychain); a local cache of your document list, tags, and generated thumbnails; and any documents you choose to "Make Available Offline." Signing out removes the stored credentials and offline downloads from the device.

Permissions

Camera — used only when you choose to scan a document. Scans become a PDF uploaded to your Papra server; they are not sent anywhere else.

Third parties

Receira uses no third-party SDKs, no analytics services, and no advertising networks.

Children

Receira does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
